I'm originally from Calgary, Alberta and currently serve as the head of a Public Agency. Before that, I was a legal academic at the London School of Economics, specializing in international law. I'm passionate about human rights and social justice issues. I'm also a vociferous bibliophile and will read anything (my first book was a thesaurus as you can tell!!). I'm also a huge NHL and Jeopardy! fan. I've always loved reading poetry and I've been dabbling with writing my own. Oh, and I'm fluent in five languages (six if you include sarcasm ;)).
